Mr. Moseley is recognized as one of the most accomplished multi-family home builders in the region. Founded in Virginia in 2007, Moseley Construction Group was born out of a vision to create a company that could successfully address the challenges of the housing development and construction sector.
His operating principals linked pre-construction planning to the delivery of finished market rate, affordable, luxury, adult care, co-living, student, mission support housing. As the firm continued to prosper, he combined this marketplace space to include workplace and mixed-use experiences.

Jason Sherman President, COO
Mr. Sherman is charged with the day-to-day management of the organization including all of the assignment concerns from pre-construction and construction divisions. This responsibility consists of field operations, accounting, administrative services, human capital, resource planning and business development practices.
His long tenure in the industry has exposed him to various project delivery and contracting methods and the benefits they offer the client. These value chain capabilities include General Contracting, Design/Build, Design/Assist, Lean Construction methodologies, Construction Management and Construction partnerships.
His hands on approach have earned him respect from his clients as a reliable, trusted and loyal construction partner.
Under the leadership of Mr. Sherman, the company has repeatedly won new construction assignments based on best price/best value benchmarks.
David A. Johnson Vice President, Strategy & Partnerships
Mr. Johnson has a wide-ranging knowledge of commercial real estate, design/construction management and facility operations. His career has exposed him to most building types and building processes/programs. He understands the complex relationships between ownership, design and construction. He is capable of taking these diverse interests and uniting them in a common goal.
His background includes master planning, facility condition assessment, master budget and schedule development, asset technology solutions, maintenance and energy management systems.
Mr. Johnson utilizes his broad professional network to drive new business with capable and proven strategic partners for both government and industry clients.
Greg Margerum Director of Pre-construction Services
Mr. Margerum, as Director of Pre-Construction Services is charged with developing construction costs based on the conceptual understanding of a project‘s requirements. His knowledge and know-how is based on a thirty year career spanning field operations to project management.
During the pre-construction phase of a project, Mr. Margerum manages the facility condition/ major systems assessment requirements, constructability reviews, value engineering/cost reduction strategy, phasing/scheduling planning, code analysis, procurement planning, code analysis, financial support reporting and construction budgeting.
Mr. Margerum plays an important role in helping clients with developing the project delivery approach, contract type and the best terms and conditions to be utilized in construction contracts.
Jim Flood Chief Estimator
Mr. Flood brings twenty five years of construction project management and construction cost estimating experience to Moseley clients. He is charged with developing a detailed understanding of a construction assignment and estimating the costs of building the project for a company profit.
It is his experience in each discipline of construction and construction scope of work services coupled with his understanding of how to syncretize the work in a logical and buildable fashion that makes him the key component of the construction management effort.
Mr. Flood takes the lead role in preparing the project management staff with a new engagement ready for contract/ procurement acquisition, subcontractor/vendor contract actions, logistics and project administration.
